We were delighted to have the privilege to work on the Hilton Queen St, Melbourne project, referencing the history of the 1931 Equity Chambers building and the refined design scheme by Bates Smart. Our approach to the lighting was carefully considered, warm, and understated, creating a unique offering for guests.
The development includes several excellent F&B offerings, such as The Douglas Club and Luci, located in the restored grand hall and original building, providing a special dining experience. The hotel itself includes 254 guest rooms, a lobby, an executive club lounge, a gym, and meeting spaces, creating a comprehensive and luxurious experience for our guests.
Drawing on the passion for heritage architecture, we oversaw the design of several custom elements throughout the development, including the façade lighting scheme, which is both dramatic and respectful of light spill. Our team’s expertise and attention to detail ensured that every aspect of the lighting scheme met our exacting standards, resulting in an unforgettable experience for guests.
