Summary

The ATP Locomotive Workshop, located on the fringe of Sydney, had been standing idle for many years. When Mirvac approached us, they saw an opportunity to transform this forgotten space into a thriving residential and commercial centre.
With a generous focus on public space and a celebration of the site’s rich history, the development has been a magnificent success. Our lighting design played a vital role in the transformation, thoughtfully highlighting the heritage elements of the site and elevating public safety without adversely impacting its fabric.
The FPOV team carefully considered the site’s unique history and character and created a lighting scheme that respected its industrial heritage. The result is a sparring and tasteful approach that enhances the site’s visual appeal while preserving its authenticity.
The lighting design plays a critical role in creating a welcoming and secure environment for residents and visitors alike. The thoughtful placement of lighting fixtures and illumination levels creates a safe and comfortable environment while highlighting the site’s unique architectural features.
