Tea House, Sydney

Summary

Tea House at Crown Barangaroo is a restaurant and private dining venue overlooking Sydney Harbour. FPOV was brought in to integrate lighting into the detailed interiors, working closely with the design team to make sure the lighting supported the architecture and finishes.

The lighting combines discreet accent lighting with bespoke decorative elements, drawing attention to the finer details of the space without competing with the interiors. Custom luminaires were developed alongside the design team, with careful attention given to scale, placement and the way each fitting sits within the architecture.

The scheme was carefully commissioned to balance the decorative and architectural lighting, allowing the space to shift between different settings while maintaining the character of the original interior design.
