Summary

Nestled in the heart of Istanbul, Zorlu is a stunning example of modern landscape architecture. WATG’s vision for the space was to create an immersive experience that prioritises the user’s feelings and needs. To achieve this, we developed a lighting approach that encourages visitors to engage with the landscape and key elements of the site.
Lighting was used as a passive way-finding device to guide visitors to the various areas of the space. The result is an enchanting experience that highlights the beauty of the landscape while providing a clear and intuitive path for guests to follow.
With a focus on enhancing the user experience, our  lighting approach adds a new dimension to Zorlu. The space is now not just a landscape, but an interactive and immersive experience for all who visit.
