Imagine developing the lighting scheme for a 6-star Hotel with 350 rooms, 13 unique F&B areas, 3 gaming facilities, a luxurious Spa, outdoor and indoor recreational facilities and 80 private apartments, collaborating with designers located all over the world and having construction running through a global pandemic.
This is Crown Towers Sydney. Through the challenges came a result which is a spectacular resort that quickly became a benchmark in the Hospitality sector worldwide and at the centre of it all, is the grand lobby stair! A beautiful, bespoke installation which enhances its surrounds and provides the client with the opportunity to share seasonal celebrations with their residents and guests.

Creating Meaningful Experience
The work accomplished by FPOV in collaboration with Preciosa and Wilkinson Eyre epitomises our mission to create meaningful experiences. Comprising over 300 crystal blades adorned with integrated pixel-controlled LEDs, this masterpiece seamlessly blends design, manufacturing, and technology. It provides a breath-taking backdrop to this luxurious environment while engaging guests and residents, offering an ever-changing and engaging experience.

Technology and Design We firmly believe that design should lead technology, not the other way around. The focus should always be on the experience we want the inhabitants of a space to have. This principle guided our approach to the Crown Sydney stair project. Wilkinson Eyre's sculptural stair, a true work of art, served as our inspiration, and our installation aimed to enhance its architectural beauty. We precisely crafted a flexible system for seasonal celebrations, seamlessly integrating over 300,000 DMX channels of LED lighting. The result is a stunning installation that perfectly complements the stair, captivating visitors with its ever-changing content and becoming a must-see experience for guests as the seasons shift.Content is Everything In any technology-driven installation, the content is paramount.
