The emphasis on a clutter-free ceiling was pivotal to the project’s success. This was accomplished through a simple yet thoughtful cove detail integrated into each ceiling coffer. Linear lighting concealed within these coves provided a soft ambient glow across the retail floor, enriching the heritage cornice details. To achieve the perfect balance between ambient and adjustable accent lighting, a flexible track and spot system, discreetly integrated within the slot, was employed. This approach not only enhanced the overall aesthetic but also provided the ideal lighting to showcase merchandise and display items.
Approach + Gallery
The innovative use of lighting played a pivotal role in meeting the project’s objectives. Careful calculation and planning using Dialux ensured that every table and counter received optimal lighting levels. Deep-recessed LED downlights and spotlights, complete with snoots and honeycomb louvers, were used to prevent glare. The majority of lighting is dimmable down to 1%, offering flexibility and energy savings. Every detail was thoughtfully considered to enhance the customer experience.
