Fish Lane, Brisbane

Summary

Fish Lane precinct is a regenerated area beneath the twin tracks of the elevated railway immediately north of the South Brisbane Station, which was once a car-park. The area now serves as an outdoor public space that supports adjacent bars and restaurants for patrons, while also being a pedestrian journey for the explorer. Given the heavy overhead concrete column, beam, railway track above, and adjacent buildings, the area is potentially shadowy and dark at night. We utilised lighting and AV design to transform Fish Lane into a Brisbane destination.
